Must See 2013 Animated Movies

I don’t know about you, but I for one love animated movies. In a word where everything is about drama and tragedy sprinkled with a little zombie apocalypse, animated movies are a great way to escape the harsh reality and go back to a time where everything is fun and laughing is your main daily duty. Animated movies don’t discriminate against age, so it can easily make a successful Sunday activity, where all the family can be involved. And if you’re not a big fan of going to the cinema, you should find out more about the interesting Time Warner Cable Deals, which can bring the magic of the big screen in the comfort of your living room.

So here are my number three top choices for animated movies you should definitely check out in 2013.

1. Despicable Me 2

Chris Meleandri along with his wonderful team invites us to see the new comic adventures of the former super villain Gru, having the voice of Steve Carell, his adorable little girls, the cute and extremely mischievous minions and a whole new bunch of outrageously funny characters.

Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment have delighted audiences around the world in 2010 with the blockbuster Despicable Me that easily made it in the top box office, thus becoming the tenth animated film in American history according to box office performances. This summer, brace yourselves for a new attack led by Gru’s cute minions. Steve Carell, Kristen Wiig, Russell Brand, Ken Jeong and Benjamin Bratt are the voices behind your favorite characters.

2. Monsters University

Monsters University returns to the public the two wicked monsters, Mike and Sully, who you already know from the highly acclaimed, award-winning animation Monsters Inc. This time, the two of them have to put aside all their differences and team up to win a scare program.
Excluded from the program just because of the rivalry between them, they are forced to enroll in the contest for the scariest monsters in the University in order to be welcomed back into the program. The two quickly form their own team and compete against some of the most popular frats on campus, going through a lot of adventures, during which the friendship between the two monsters grows stronger. The cast has some of the most important Hollywood actors: Steve Buscemi, John Goodman, Billy Crystal and Helen Mirren.

3. Epic

Movie Review: The Expendables 2

Watching movie with my family is a great way to spend the weekend. We went to watch The Expendables 2 at the mall. I have seen the part 1 of the said movie and was quiet impressed but still I thought it was a boy thing to see combat, mission and military tactics in a movie.

Yet, seeing the movie board outside the theater featuring Chuck Norris in the Expendables 2 got me excited! I have seen Chuck Norris so long time ago and he reminds me of my father. When I was a kid my father would bring me along with him to watch Chuck Norris’ movies. Well, the movie impressed me so much. With the collaboration of great renowned Hollywood actors like Chuck Norris, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis and Sylvester Stallone, what more can you ask for? Jet Li was also featured in one part of the movie.

The movie was full of combat tactics but with great humor too. It was a great picture with its amazing effects. It was a great movie not only because of its one-of-a-kind set of actors and casts but also because the movie offered a “buy-one-take-one” ticket for the weekend, haha!

Should I Still Be A Law Abiding Citizen?

Who said that having your vengeance can never be justified? The movie “Law Abiding Citizen” helps open our minds how deeply twisted the justice system is. There are a lot of times when we regret that we even went to the officials and have them solve our problems because we just wasted our effort, time, and money.

Taking the justice into your hands is sometimes inevitable. I’m not saying that killing is good. I’m referring to other types of crimes. If you’re only going to depend on the surveillance of the police there is this big probability that you are going to wait for a very long time. Sometimes you need to conduct your own investigation.

Channing Tatum

The multi-talented actor, Channing Tatum, is the main star of this early 2012 movie entitled: “The Vow”. A lot of my friends said that the movie is beautiful because it has a very nice plot. And that’s aside from the fact that they were mad fans of Channing Tatum. For weeks, this movie and actor has been the favourite topic. And because of that, I was able to pick-up some facts about this guy. A lot of praises says that he is someone who got it all! He can act, dance and pose (I dunno if he can sing). He is really one of a kind and the entertainment industry really needs someone as versatile like him to continuously entertain people.

Nina Dobrev

Who would miss that beautiful girl who creates that spark between the Salvatore Brothers in the TV series “The Vampire Diaries (TVD)”?! For TVD fanatics she is Elena Gilbert also known as Katherine Pierce, but in real life she is Nina ConstantinovaDobreva or more popularly known as Nina Dobrev. She is a Bulgarian-Canadian girl that does well in acting and modeling.

Her role in the TVD series is quite her for she is playing two different characters—one is a vampire from the year 1864 and two, an ordinary modern day mortal. In all fairness, she does the acting job very well. Every time both characters appear in an episode, I am always convinced that the two characters are played by two different people. She’s one of the best teenage actresses in today’s generation.
