Say No to Bad Breath

Teaching your child about the importance of good oral health is very significant. While he is young, your child will develop habits and whether it is good or bad will be entirely up to you. Explain to him that brushing the teeth regularly is a good thing and should be done every day to avoid dental diseases or bad breath. Having bad breath is bad for your child’s confidence; children often whisper to each other and having stinky breath will cause your child to lose friends.

They may tease your child or spread rumors pertaining to his breath and this can sadden him or make him withdrawn. Tell him that a lot of things can result to bad breath including eating certain food like onion, and the only way to counter it is through taking care of his mouth. Through simple explanations and correct examples your child will soon know the value of brushing his teeth.
